My future job

Hi classmates!

Today I’m going to post about my future job. I study psychology and my idea is work like a sports psychologist and like a clinical psychologist. I want work with children and adolescents in the two areas, but I think these jobs are a little differents. One job is more about do it and the other job is more about think.

If my job is like a sports psychologist, I would have a work outdoor many time (depending  on the sport) and for job in this area I would need sportswear. One thing that I like about this  job is I would not need work in an office all the time! I want work like a sport psychology to educational level, this mean that I don’t travel so much. I don’t want work with high performance athletes because they travel all the time and I could not have my own life. It is a very demanding work.

If my job is like a clinical psychologist I can’t go with sportwear. In this job I would have a work in an office. I don’t like much work in an office but I enjoy do clinical psychology. Now I have patients in the CAPs here in the university, then I hope can have a job in this same area.

I really hope can work on these two jobs and have the best of my two favorite areas.

Greetings (:

Cultural Shock

Hi classmates!

Today I’m going to post about cultural shock. Is more easy for me tell us since my experience. I live in Rancagua. I’m not just from Rancagua… I live there. I travel everydays to Santiago to  come to the university.

My city is near of Santiago but in my first year I hate “the big city”. Rancagua and Santiago are very different. Today I will defend my city. For me is amazing see people very stressed all time! Here people run side by side!

With time I understand why is very stressed the life here but I’m surprised still. In my career we talk much about “stress” and I think is imposible come here and no feel it. The cultural shock that generate is incredible! The most curious is when someone come here for a long time, this someone adopt the same bumpy life style.
I not live here and I feel that I’m very much stressed here than Rancagua. There is thing good with all this for me. Now I value so much my city. Maybe is a little boring, it’s true, but the people is more relaxed.

I think now  is probable that someone  of Santiago feel too  a cultural shock if come Rancagua…   Maybe  the difference are that makes us the shock.

Greetings (:

My best holiday

Hi classmates!

When I was 18 years old I had my best holidays! I went to countryside near Pichilemu. I went with my mother and her friend. I love very much my mother’s friend, she is like my older sister. She has a house in the countryside (I don’t remember the name of place!) and she have a house at Pichilemu too. We were 8 days at the countryside but 3 of the 8 days we were at the Pichilemu house.

This year was the first year that we went together to anywhere on a holidays. I enjoyed it very much! In this place there is not telephone signal, the bathroom is outside the house, there is not running water. This place is a real countryside place! I can say that this holidays were the most relaxed holidays in all of my life!

I had much time for sleep, read, do sport, enjoy of silence and the sounds of nature, talk with my mother and her friend and eat many new things in Pichilemu! I did not know that I enjoy much in a natural place.

Greetings (:
